Artwork

Stitch files priced by what is actually in them.

Underlay, density and pull compensation set for the fabric you name and the finished size you need. Priced on stitch count, because that is what the work is, and capped at €29.90 whatever the design.

The whole product, in one picture

On the left, the artwork as it arrives. On the right, the same mark as a stitch file, with the path the needle takes and the count that follows from it.

What you send, what you get

Send
Vector or raster — SVG, PDF, AI, EPS, PNG or JPEG. Along with it: the finished size in millimetres, the fabric, and the placement. Those three change the file more than the artwork does.
Why the fabric matters
A 60 mm crest on piqué and the same crest on fleece are two different files. Underlay, density and pull compensation are set against the fabric, and set against the right one the design lies flat on the garment. Naming the fabric takes a second and settles it before the machine ever runs.
You get back
PDF, EMB and DST, with the stitch count, the thread colour chart and a rendered preview. DST is the commercial standard; EMB is the editable original, so the file remains yours to change.
How it is priced
By stitch count, which is what the work actually is: a dense 40 mm badge carries more work than a plain 120 mm wordmark, and the price follows the work.
The ceiling
You are quoted a maximum before anything starts, and the invoice honours it. Stitch count only exists once the file does, so the quote takes the top of your size band and the invoice takes the real figure — which often comes in below.
Turnaround

The price list

Priced by stitch count, published here in full, with the ceiling that makes the whole thing predictable.

Stitch countPrice
Up to 5,000€9.90
Up to 10,000€12.90
Up to 15,000€15.90
Up to 22,000€19.90
Above 22,000€19.90 + €1 per additional 1,000
Maximum, any design€29.90

The rule is continuous, so the price rises smoothly with the stitch count, and the ceiling binds at 32,000 stitches. Above that the price holds at €29.90.

What that means in practice

Stitch count is something the finished file tells you, so here is the same list read from the placement instead.

Complex designs are quoted before any work starts and you accept the quote first. The list above covers simple and medium work; anything that has to be rebuilt from scratch comes to you as a quote you agree before we begin.

You pay for files, and only for files. The usual model in this trade bills every person in your studio a monthly fee before a single file is ordered. Here the invoice follows the work.

All prices exclude VAT. EU business customers outside the United Kingdom are invoiced under the reverse charge.

How it works

  1. 01

    Upload, with the three numbers

Artwork, finished size in millimetres, fabric, placement. The last three shape the file as much as the artwork itself.

  2. 02

    A ceiling, before the work

You see the maximum you can be charged before anything starts. The invoice takes the real stitch count and stays within that figure.

  3. 03

Files, in 24 to 48 hours

PDF, EMB and DST with the stitch count, thread chart and preview. Every file is opened and looked at before it goes out.

Questions we get asked

Why price on stitches and not on size?
Because stitches are the work. A dense 40 mm badge can carry more stitches than a plain 120 mm wordmark, so stitch count is the figure that tracks the effort — and the ceiling keeps the bill predictable at the top end.
How can you quote before you know the stitch count?
The quote takes the top of the band your finished size lands in, and that figure is a maximum. The invoice takes the real count, which is often lower, and always sits within the quoted maximum.
Do you supply PES, JEF or EXP?
DST ships as standard, which is what a commercial machine expects, and the editable EMB comes with it. Other machine formats are derivable from the EMB, so ask when you order and we will include them.
Do you stitch the file out before sending it?
Every file is checked before delivery. What that check covers depends on the design, and if a job genuinely needs a physical sew-out before it runs on your floor, say so when you order.
Can I edit the file afterwards?
Yes — the EMB is the editable original and it is yours, included as standard with every order.
How am I billed?
Monthly invoice, by SEPA direct debit. Prices exclude VAT, and EU business customers outside the United Kingdom are invoiced under the reverse charge.
